As always, this was a great chance to meet with colleagues and catch up with developments from around the region and beyond.

The Institute for Learning (IfL) is the professional body for teachers, trainers, tutors, student teachers and assessors in the further education and skills sector.

Whilst most of us are registered with the IfL and are aware of the work they are doing, it was great to be able to spend some time learning about new developements in depth.

I was particularly impressed by Reflect, the online e-portfolio system which provides a powerful way for us to record all our CPD.
